This issue focus' on Doctor Mid-Nite. Obviously! But he's taken a few days off from the JSA and gone back to Portsmouth City. He helps out in a domestic violence situation. In talking to the cops afterwards, he finds out that there's some kind of vampire cult, or wanabe's, or something running around town. And there have been a couple of deaths because of it. He goes out exploring and finds a club that seems to specialize in the darker interests. There he finds a person of interest and attempts to follow him/her. But he's led in to some dark circumstances and actually ends up getting bitten on the neck. The issue ends with the sun rising as our hero lays in a park by a fountain. This issue was done by some new-comers, I believe. JT Krul writes it. And Alex Sanchez draws it. I like the style that Alex uses. I think though that this is one of those instances where he has to find the right inker. There are some moments of brilliance in here, but, there's also some frames where either he, or his inker, try to do to much. But I definitely see some potential here. Over all a pretty nice book.
