I thought this was a pretty interesting story. They're starting to experiment, I think, a little with this whole thing about Jamie trying to bring in all the pieces of his soul. I liked the way they worked out that last one, with the dupe that was a SHIELD agent. I thought that was pretty original. Then this issue, they give him a moral dilemma. This dupe, John Maddox, has set up a nice little life for himself. He's a pastor in a nice little New England town. He also has a wife and son. So now he has to figure out what to do about it. Well as he's looking through his house, trying to figure out just what kind of life he has, he's feeling more and more remorseful about what he's about to do. Then John, the dupe, comes in with a gun. He wants to keep his life and he's willing to fight for it. Finally he just gives up and tells Jamie to just take him in. But Jamie decides to give him a break. Yes he's like to gather up all the pieces, but if giving up a little piece means that this one gets to live a quiet, peaceful life, then he's guess' it's probably worth it. We also get to see Theresa and Monet in Paris. Trying to stay out of trouble. But they're better at getting in it. They take a little mutant girl and decide to head home, she's all alone with no family or home. And it seems as if they've picked up a follower. Can't tell if his intentions are good or bad. He looks sinister, but when they try to leave the airport, with an army of Police following the plane, he helps them out. So the jury's still out on this one. We'll have to wait to see what's going to happen. But overall a very nice book. I've always been an X-factor fan, but it seems like this incarnation is getting better and better.
