This is the continuation of the fight, from last issue, between Wolvie and Sabretooth. And that's really what this book is. Sure there's some pages of character development, here and there, but when it comes down to it, this issue is just one big fight scene, between the two. Wolvies having some flashbacks, or visions, or something, but he really can't explain it. The first is about a tribe, or gang, that call themselves the lupine. They seem like a weak kind of version of a werewolf. But they also seem like a very primitive Wolverine. He's not sure what this has to do with him, but he can remember it, and smell it, and feel it as if he was there. But he wasn't. The second vision is of the Danger Room, when Sabretooth was fighting with Tabitha and Betsy. And again, he remembers it as if he was a part of it. But, all he really knows about that day, is whatever Betsy told him. Then, on top of all this, he's trying to figure out what Creed is up to. Obviously he was taking Logan somewhere. But where? And why? And who is he doing it for? But it's hard to ask, or answer, those questions when you crashing the Blackbird in to the side of a mountain. But on the final page, Storm shows up to break up the fight. Nothing like a torrential downfall, and some lightning to calm down those killer instincts. A great story by Jeph Loeb. Also some fantastic art. Simone Bianchi does all the interior pencils as well as the cover on this one. It's truly a piece of art.
