Ok, Bill Willingham weaves a merry fable. But you'd never be able to see it on TV, you'd have to watch it on cable. We have love and loss and riches beyond measure. Jack woke up with an angel, and ended up with her treasure. And I don't mean her red-hot box of love. I'm talking about houses and casinos and all of the above. So he starts out feeling high, from the passion he's awoken. But then the universe catches up demanding payment, a small token. He struggles along, meeting friends and family. And in the process beats up 2 Belgians, quite readily. His friend Gary is in love with a mannequin. And for some reason I can't quit telling this story, sounding like Etrigan. Theres' also a sub-plot, about a boy and a queen. He's got her shoe, and she looking pretty mean. I'm sure their destinies are meant to over lap. He's come to Jack's casino with his lucky shoe, oh snap. I have a feeling that Jack's going to lose all that he's gained. His life seems to be filled with tragedy, morose and pain. So we'll have to wait until next issue, to see this play out. It's a story about Jack, a Queen, and Aubrey, who's stout.
