X-Factor #15 - Marvel

This one's mostly about Jamie. Sure we see Monet and Siryn in Paris, but it's still mostly about Jamie. Actually, the last couple of issue have been about him. He's trying to get things under control. In order to do that, he has to reign in all the dupes that he's let wander around out there for the last few years. Kind of a twelve step type thing. Except with him, there's probably a lot more. Anyways, last issue he went to get his dupe that's an agent of SHIELD. He wasn't very successful though, and on his way out of the building he was abducted by HYDRA. Lots of acronyms in these stories. Anyways, the guy that programmed Guido, for Singular Investigations, is now working for HYDRA. They want to program him and turn him in to a sleeper agent. So this Dr. Locke has his mind stripped down. They bring him to some central chamber and are ready to reprogram him. Unfortunately, for them, when Dr. Locke slaps him on the back to show his superior his abilities, his mind is starts going through the programming where he's being punished by his parents. The next step, in his mind, is to punish himself. So he starts slapping himself. And, of course, every time he does, he knocks off a duplicate. Well each of them slap themselves, and so on , and so on, and so on. Next thing you know, all the HYDRA agents are dead, because they were literally crushed under the foot of Jamie Madrox. He then calls in anonymously to SHIELD and when they come to investigate, he pulls in the SHIELD Jamie. Kind of a long way to go to get him back. But what really bothers him is that he doesn't feel any remorse over anything that's happened. This book has gotten better. I mean, I've liked it from the beginning, but there were some little things. But, they seem to have ironed themselves out, and I think we're back on track. Which is good, because I really like these characters.
