As everyone knows this has been one of my favorite books since it's inception. Well . . . . they just turned it up a notch. First we got Paul Pelletier back on pencils. He may not be the flashiest artist out there, but he can draw some wicked human form. There's a couple shots of Blink and Heather in here, that are just . . . um . . . scrumptious! Meow!! And he draws Sabretooth like no other. Then, to top it off, it looks like Chris Claremont is going to be our scribe from now on. I think he's done a few issues here and there, but hopefully, now he's here to stay. And as we all know, nobody, I mean nobody, knows the X-men like Chris. To add more icing to the cake, I don't know if it was Chris' idea, but this issue we get rid of the Power Princess . . . . . and we add Psylocke! Yowza! What a fantastic team we're assembling here. I mean what more could we ask for. We got the constant threat of Hyperion to worry about. It seems like they're constantly escalating the threat of Morph, or actually Kevin McTaggart, Proteus. And now we have this woman, or entity, that show up every time they try to get an outside shot of the Crystal Palace. My guess, she actually is the Crystal Palace. But this issue, she gets involved and actually tweeks a world. Our group go to try to save it but they're seriously outgunned. Sabretooth comes back for some reinforcements, and that's when Heather decides to recruit Psylocke. Stay tuned, this fantastic comic is only going to get better from here. And issue #100 is not that far away. Who'da thunk it?
