Like I've said before, Waid and Kitson are a dream team on this book. They do such a fantastic job together. I have to give props to Mick Gray also, because his inks really compliment Barry's pencils. Props to all involved. This issue we're finding out what the big dilemma is, that the Wanderer's, or more specifically Mekt Ranzz, is here recruiting for. Turns out it's some kind of AI rebellion building over in Megatokyo. Supposedly they're building a machine god. So Mon-El, yes he's back, Supergirl, Ultra-boy and Brainy head over to do some reconnaissance. Meanwhile, Ayla gives everyone a little of the Ranzz family history. More specifically the history of Mekt. When they get to Megatokyo, they pretty much knock out the AI rebellion all by themselves. But then a robot rises from the ground, larger than any skyscraper. It's face resembles the Dominators. So apparently they're involved in this somehow. They begin attacking the robot, thinking that it's military or defensive in nature, but it's actually to easy. Come to find out, the robot is actually a delivery system. Apparently the AI wanted to deliver something into the atmosphere that will spread over the whole earth. Brainy simply says, "We lost." As a shot from outer-space shows have the planet covered in red. So next month, hopefully, we'll figure out how the AI got in bed with the Dominators. Fantastic book. And great series. Hopefully this creative team will be on this book for a while.
I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.
