Eternals #6 - Marvel

It's been a couple of months since the last issue of this mini series came out. And I gotta tell you, John Romita Jr's pencils in this issue, aren't as good as the first couple of issue. Don't get me wrong, they're still decent. There's just not as much detail as when this book started. This issue, the dreaming Celestial awakens. Ikarus, with Thena and Sersi, go to try to stop it. But even they realize it's kind of out of their hands. Sprite has put a plan it motion that really can't be stopped. Their one hope was the Uni-mind, but when they tried it, the Celestial shut them right down. Mark is really the only one who talks to it, and he does that in a dream like state. I think the Celestial feels a kinship with him, since he created Mark. Anyways he tells him that when he first woke up, he thought about just wiping out the whole planet. But now, he's decided to wait, " . . . . until all the shadows fall. Then I will pass judgement." So I guess they got a day to get their stuff together. Tony, Hank and Jan all came out to try to stop it too. But they basically just have to watch from the sidelines. I'm sure they'll contribute something though, before this is all over. So anyways, now we have to wait until next issue, to see how they're going to spend to day to gain favorable judgement from the giant. Should be interesting. Only 1 more issue to go.
