I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Ultimate X-Men #99 - Marvel
In the aftermath of the Ultimatum wave . . things are falling apart all over the place for the X-Men. Dazzler, Beast and Nightcrawler are the first known casualties of the wave that his Manhattan. Well, not the first known, but . . the first know of the X-Men's own. That could've been less confusing. I think. Anyways, Rouge has decided to do something about it and she wants to take the fight to the source . . Magneto. She knows she can't do it alone, so . . she's gone out to recruit the other members of her former team, in Canada . . Weapon X. So far she's got Wraith, Juggernaut and Sabretooth. Meanwhile, back at the mansion, a group of people have come across some Sentinel tech. They found it washed up on the coast line. They're being led by William Stryker Jr, and they want to use the armor to defend themselves against the obvious aggressors here . . . the mutants. The kids that are left try to make a stand, but . . these guys make pretty short work of them. That is until Rogue, who's found out about the attack, has come with her comrades to offer some relief. There's probably nothing better that this group likes to do than to take down some mutant-haters. And they get all of their aggression out. But Stryker's group does manage to take out Juggy. However, before he goes he asks Rogue to take all of his power. " . . you need to . . you need to take my power. All of it. It's the only way to . . . . . just . . hold my hand. One time. Just once." During the battle she touches William. After seeing what he's fighting for, it's hard for her not to sympathize as she looks down and finds herself standing in a pile of his friends. It's a shame that there's only 1 issue to go here. I really feel like this book is in the best place it's been for a while now. Aron E Coleite is doing a great job with this story. And Mark Brooks and Dan Panosian have really brought a great look to it. I'm a little confused as to whether there's going to be an Ultimate Universe anymore after this Ultimatum story-line. I'm not sure if things are going to be revamped, or . . . that's just it . . it's over. I really hope not. I love this line of books. Every single one. But, especially . . Ultimate Spider-man. But I know there's only 1 more issue of this book left, so . . I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. I'm sure it'll be . . . epic!
