Trinity #31 - DC

It seems like the JSI, Justice Society Infinity, is finally starting to realize the there's much going on in the world that they can't explain, and they may just have to start believing and following the soothsayer, Charity O'Dare. Tarot, Rita, is in the hands of the evil Trinity . . Le Fey, Enigma and Konvikt, but before they took her Rita bonded her spirit to Charity's. So as she reading the cards, and basically the world, through her affinity with the worldsoul, Charity is seeing what she's seeing. So now they're on a pretty level playing field. Well . . except that the evil trinity got a head start and it took a while for Charity to convince these guys to listen. Le Fey and gang have been trying to get to the shifts as they happen so they can tap into the creation energy that's being thrown about. They need to gather it up so that they can use it in their spell to replace our trinity . . Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman. But now, since they're following the lead of Rita, the JSI can get to the hot-spots as fast as they can and try to throw a wrench into their plans. Meanwhile, our other group of heroes . . Alfred, Dick, Lois, Kara, Donna and Nemesis . . are still on there journey with their new found friends. They're on a pilgrimage to find their gods . . Kellel, Dinanna and Atmahn. The closer they get, the more they seem to remember about the world before it started changing. They tell them a story about the gods and how they helped a little boy who's family is killed. Atmahn comes to the boys aid. Donna seems to remember the story and thinks they're talking about Dick. But, by the time they finish, Dick realizes that they aren't talking about him. They're talking about Jason. There's really a lot of depth in this story, and I enjoy the way Kurt Busiek and Fabian Nicieza are showing us all of the intricacies. I also think that Mark Bagley and Scott McDaniel and doing a terrific job with the visuals. Basically, up until now, the evil trinity have been running amuck pursuing their plans. But now . . now the 'good guys' are up to speed and ready to try to stop Le Fey and consorts from tearing the world apart. I think the stronger the 'good guys' get, the stronger our Trinity will become. Power through faith, and all that. On the bad side though . . Lord Khyber has thrown in his allegiance with Le Fey. That's not a good thing. But, we still have a ways to go with this. I can't wait to see how it all plays out.
