Tangent: Superman's Reign #11 - DC

Next issue . . . everything hits the fan. This issue . . the entirety of the JLA is scouring the Earth to try to find out where the Tangent Superman is holding all of the world's leaders hostage. For a plan to take over the Earth, honestly, I thought that one was kind of weak. But we find out this issue that all he was trying to do was buy time for his real plan to come to fruition. If the other plan worked . . fine. But I really don't think that he ever truly believed that it had a chance. But, it did tie up his opposition for a little while. His actual plan was to bring to our Earth the Tangent Ultimate Humanite. He's the villain that basically turned Harvey into the tyrant that he is today. Ten years ago when he defeated the Humanite, he realized that he was strong enough to pretty much do anything. That's when he decided to make his Earth a better place . . by any and all means necessary. To him, the ends did justify the means. But, now that he's eager to take over another Earth, he's releasing the Humanite from his holding cell and is about to unleash him on the Earth . . our Earth . . or, rather, the DC Earth. You know what I mean. And, back on the Tangent Earth, Jennifer has been getting information from Guy Gardner for the last few issues. It turns out Guy is actually Clayface. He takes out Jennifer and her guards and then he replaces her . . he takes her form. Obviously, he's working for Superman. He's now set-up to defeat the enemy from the inside. I thought it was a pretty decent story by Dan Jurgens. And it really sets up the ultimate battle for next issue. I also like Carlos Magno's art much better than the previous artist. This series is almost over, but I'm wondering if the Tangent Universe is going to have a future after this. I really hope so.
