I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

the Mighty Avengers #21 - Marvel
I have these 2 books posted in the wrong order, but . . I actually read them in the right order. If that makes any sense. I also made a mistake in the Dark Avengers post. I made a comment about Brian Bendis writing all 3 Avengers books, but . . it appears that Dan Slott is writing this one. My bad. Anyways, much as the Dark Avengers book was the starting spot for that team, so to is this book for the new line-up for the Mighty Avengers. First of all Wanda, the Scarlet Witch, is back. She appears just as this chaos wave decides to sweep over the Earth. The few Avengers that have seen her assume that she is the cause. But, it's actually coming from Eastern Europe. Mount Wundagor, to be exact. Apparently Mordred is up to some mischief. He's trying to summon Pietro back from the dead. Which he does. The problem is, Chthon now inhabits his body. Hercules, and his boy protege Amadeus, have taken it upon themselves to assemble a new team. They're starting with Jarvis. The 3 of them then head north to enlist Hank Pym . . . the real one. And by default, Jocasta. Meanwhile Wanda has been doing some recruiting of her own. She's gathered up John Walker, US Agent, the Hulk, and the Vision and Cassie. Together I guess they're going to be the new Mighty Avengers. This book was ok. This new team is going to be thrown right into battle next issue. But this issue . . this issue was basically the assembly issue. Khoi Pham does the art for this issue, and actually . . it looks pretty good. It looks like all the Avengers books may be starting new directions next issue. It should be an interesting month.
