Fantastic Four #544 - Marvel

Well, I don't know if you could technically say that Ororo and T'challa are part of the Fantastic Four or not. They're going to be staying at the Baxter Building. Since they have nowhere else to stay. And they're going to be helping out whenever they're needed. But . . . part of the official roster? I don't know. Reed holds a press conference, to let the world know that they'll be helping out. And they do have matching costumes. But . . . they're really only matching because they're all dressed in black. Ororo and the Black Panther's don't have 4's on them. So . . . I'm thinking . . . . kind of like when they had Spider-man, the Hulk, Ghost Rider, and Wolverine . . . . 4 members . . . but not really a team. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see how they all gel together. But no sooner are they residents in the building, than they're already need deep in a mystery. A cosmic mystery. One that has them, already, flying to the moon to talk to the Watcher. And then they travel further out in to the cosmos to battle Epoch, and maybe the Silver Surfer. He's there . . . but we don't know which side he's on yet. Creatively we start out with an awesome cover. And on the inside, we got Dwayne McDuffie scripting it, he's all over the Marvel Universe this month. And Paul Pelletier on the pencils. This guy, I feel, does not get the credit that he deserves. He's doing some fantastic work, both here and over in Exiles, but you don't hear that many people praising him. I really think he puts out some fantastic stuff. Pun intended.
