Supergirl and the Legion of Super-heroes #28 - DC

I know I'm repeating myself, but I really can't give enough praise and adulation over this creative team. Mark Waid and Barry Kitson have both been around for quite a while. And they're both pretty remarkable on their own. They both have a huge array of work. But, for whatever reason, every now and then, these two work together. And for some reason, when they do, each of their works are better than their individual stuff. And their individual stuff is all pretty great. I don't know why they work so well together. But I can attest that they do. And the end result, as with this book, is perfection. Throw any name you want out there, but you couldn't ask for a better creative team-up than these two. They're phenomenal. Anyways, this issue, the Dominator virus that has spread all over the globe and shut down all technology more advanced than a fork, is really wreaking havoc on the planet. Also they have their shock troops all over the planet. The Legion is so spread out, that honestly they don't stand much of a chance of handling these guys. But, they have a plan. With so much of the Dominators resources focused on our planet, they've decided to take the fight to them. They trick them in to thinking that they can trap all the Legionaires in one place, when actually they want to use their own portal to jump back to their world. When they send the Shock Troopers in to get them, the Legionaires jump back through their portal to their world. And as Cosmic Boy puts it, "The strategy is simple. We take the fight to the enemy . . . and we don't let up until this world is ours." Dreamboy is also going to play a big role in the outcome of this, but we don't really know what that is yet. We just see him and Dreamgirl talking to each other in the beginning. So next issue . . . should be a heck of a ride.
