We're getting really close to the end. Nightwing and Renee are going all out to try to find Kate. Of course we know that Mannhiem, and his Intergang cronies have her. They're trying to bring about the prophecies from the Book of Crime. Mannheim seems to be turning his whole organization in to an Island of Doctor Moreau type thing. He's got some really wicked looking creatures on his staff. But, we do get to see Renee in her new Question garb this issue. She finally puts on the faceless mask. I was wondering when she was going to get around to that. Renee does finally find Kate, but not before Mannheim sticks her with a knife. I don't really know why they'd kill her off. I mean she's got this really cool Batwoman character going and all. But after he stabs her, Mannheim and Renee go at it. It looks like he's going to overpower her, but then Kate pulls the knife from herself, and throws it into the back of Mannheim. We also get a little glimpse of Oolong island. Remember Black Adam went there to get some retribution for what's been done to his family and country. But, the geek scientists get the better of him. I guess science does triumph over magic. Anyways, they use various techniques and such to capture him and torture him. And now that they've been having their way with him, for a week or so, they're ready to auction him off. Fantastic book. And only 4 issue to go. But then we get the Countdown. Are you ready for another year?
