I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Green Lantern #32 - DC
I know we're in the same story-line that we were last issue . . the last couple of issues, actually, but . . I really feel that this book gets better and better with every issue. Geoff Johns story here is incredible. This issue we learn how Hal really had nothing at all to do with Hector Hammonds origin. Yes it was right around this time, and the same general vicinity . . and yes it was a product of Abin Sur's craft that affects him, but . . really, Hal had nothing to do with it. Except for the scorn that Hector feels when he sees the way that Hal and Carol look at each other. But . . he is a stalker, basically, so . . it's really his own fault. This issue is also, obviously, the first time that Hal meets Sinestro. Hal's pretty pissed at him at first for smashing the plane that he's in, but by the end of their first conversation I think there's a level of respect there also. We'll see what happens when they really get in to it next issue. Plus, there's another alien floating around the area right now. I think he crashed around the same time that Abin Sur did, but nobody noticed this one because it was in the lake. But this guys, the real threat. He's eating the people that came to investigate and chanting some pagan ritual. He also mentions something about a William Hand. I'm not sure what that's about. But on top of Geoff's story, we have the exquisite artwork of Ivan Reis. I love this guy! Actually, both of them . . Geoff and Ivan. They have done so much for this book and this character. This book is definitely in my top 10 every month. It's a 'piece of work'.
