I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

the Flash #241 - DC
Tom Peyer is really turning up the heat on this series. If you don't believe me . . look at the cover. But seriously, he's really putting Wally, and is family, under some severe pressure. Lately Wally's been fighting this new Spin character, who, as it turns out, is actually the head of the local TV station. Wally tried to tell them that they were somehow connected. And the people that snagged Jai and Iris last issue? . . did so for the Dark-Side Club. In the heat of the moment, Iris gets worked up and activates her speed powers. She's thrilled, even though she did age 4 or 5 years in the process. Surprisingly though, the Flash's butt is pulled out of the fire by Gorilla Grodd. For some reason, Spin pulled Grodd to them, but then Grodd took exception to the intrusion and immediately puts him down. There's no stopping a mad monkey. While this is happening, someone has broken in to the Flash museum and set it on fire. Wally's biggest concern? . . . to save Inertia's life, whom he has on display in suspended animation in the gallery. Remember? At the end of the issue, everyone turns around to see that something new is happening to Iris. It kind of looks like when the Speed Force tried to suck in Wally. I really hope that they figure out some way to help these kids. I really like them. They're good for Wally, and it's nice to see the Flash book with such a large supporting cast. I'd hate to see them come and go within a year because they aged to much. That would suck. For us and Wally. I think this book is really going strong, and I hope they can keep it up.
