I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Casey Blue: Beyond Tomorrow #2 - WildStorm
This issue just takes us more in to the mystery that is Casey. B Clay Moore and Carlo Barberi are putting together a nice little mystery here. Some of it seems a little far fetching . . and stretching things a bit, but hey . . it's a comic book . . right? At the end of last issue, Casey had killed that guy across the street from her brother's apartment. She doesn't remember doing it, but when she gets in her car covered in blood she becomes cognizant again. But, a little confused. It's short-lived, however, because a passing patrol-man tries to stop her, and she has to start her car and race away. Now, don't you think that the patrol-man would've been trained enough to get the license plate number, or at least the make and model of the car? Anyways, she's having dreams about the whole thing, but none of it really makes sense to us yet because we don't know the whole story. At the end of this book though, we find out that it has something to do with the woman that lives next-door to her brother. She goes after this agent, Donald Stanwyck, because somehow they're connected. Somehow they can sense each other. Casey sees him as a threat and apparently kills him . . but I don't think he's going down that easily. Anyways, there's someone else after her, but it's this woman that brings Casey down with a tranquilizer dart. I know we want to keep the story going with some action, but I think we could've learned a little more about Casey's character before we just jumped right in. However, that being said, I'm still intrigued by the story. It's shaping up to be a nice little mystery. I just hope the climax is worth the anticipation. I guess . . we'll see.
