Legion of Super-heroes in the 31st Century #13 - DC

Alrighty! I won't get up on my soap-box again about why I think these books are good for the kids. I just want you to think about the future of our hobby! But, that being said, this was a fun book to read. It's mostly about Superman, back when he first came to Metropolis. He didn't even have a name yet. There was a few bouncing around, but eventually Superman is the one that stuck. As he's going through his day to day activities, he's thinking back on his past, the Earth's future, when the Legion helped to train him and hone a lot of his abilities. Seriously, without their help, he would've been like a bull in a china shop. A very powerful bull. But, on the same token, Brainiac 5, who is a descendant of the Brainiac in our time probably helps him the most. For fear of disrupting the time-line, he's the one that gives Clark some secret tips. And the original Brainiac, appears to have also come in to notice of Clark . . er, Superman. It looks like Brainiac knows his duo-identity. But he's not a threat right now. He's just watching Superman, and cataloging the footage. Obviously, he's definitely a future threat though. Like I said, it's just a fun book to read. Pick one up. Enjoy!
