I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Legion of Super-heroes in the 31st Century #6 - DC
It takes a kids book to finally unite 2 of the greatest peace-keeping forces in the universe. I always wondered why we never saw the Green Lanterns in the future. Apparently they didn't feel that they were needed in UP space. And we see a glimpse of the Starro from the future also. That's who possesses the Green team, and forces them to come in to conflict with the Legion. Luckily though, Saturn Girl figures out what's going on, and they can separate the leech's before to much damage is caused. And of course then they take down Starro. But this is the first time one of the Johnny DC books has made an attempt to add to the DC Universe continuity. We're introduced to Jordana Gardner. She's the long distant relative of Guy Gardner. We don't find out who Guy Gardner married, but reference is made that there were Green Lanterns on both sides of her family. That's interesting. Especially with all the stuff going on with the Green Lantern Corps right now. Anyways they offer her membership, but she says that her heart is with the Corps. And they depart amicably. Nice story. And it's nice to see some future versions, or descendants, of our current heroes. I've always wondered why we haven't run in to more of them. Long live the Legion!!
