I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

the Flash #232 - DC
I really like the new direction that this book is taking. We all know that Mark Waid is a brilliant writer. And the artwork by Daniel Acuna is pretty cool. I'm just afraid that this whole thing with Wally's kid though, may be a bit to much for one book. I mean, when it was just the Flash, they had no problem having enough material to fill each issue. But now, Flash also has to deal with his 2 kids and wife. And his kids are super-powered. And his wife has to do something or other with them every day, with this machine he brought back from who knows where, or else they'll age to rapidly. Remember? The kids were only born about 2 years ago. But when they came back they looked like they were 7 or 8. I guess it has something to do with their powers. It accelerates their growth process or something. Plus we've gotten hints that their powers have changed before. So right now we don't really know what powers they're going to end up with. But this hasn't all been explained to us yet. Now, on top of all that, the Flash has an alien invasion on his hands. We learn a lot about the aliens this issue, but, not so much about what it is they're after. All we really know is that they can, and they are, sucking the water out of everything and everybody. On the final page, it looks like the Flash is going down in a cloud of dust. Well the Justice League joins us next issue, so hopefully we'll find out some more information as to the aliens purpose. I've always loved the Flash. And, for the next chapter in the saga, this has a great beginning. I'm just worried that they're trying to bite off to much here. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it unfolds. Hopefully it won't be to mushed up.
