Ok, here's what's going on this week. As you can tell by the cover, all the women are at a Bachelorette party for Dinah. Stargirl and Supergirl are actually part of the party. They're acting as servers. But they are trying to partake in the libations, only . . . there's literally hundreds of eyes watching them. Meanwhile, up in the same hotel, the Flash has Piper and Trickster contained in a room with one of Zatanna's mummies as their guard. Well of course they're going to give him the slip. Even they're smarter than a mummy. The problem is the run straight down the hotel, and into the same room as the party. But so does the mummy. So it's distracts the women, and they escape in somebodies Porsche. Meanwhile Jimmy has been taken to Cadmus, where he's met by Serling and Dubbilex. Serling can't wait to get started with him. Our gang that's looking for Ray Palmer have gone to Earth 30. That's the one with the Red Son . . . you know . . . the Russian Superman. They don't stick around there very long. But their next stop is Earth 3. That's the home of the Crime Syndicate. Which also leads us in to the next Countdown special. And finally Mary Marvel starts out in China. She's been confronted by Klarion, and in exchange for saving her from an attack, says that he wants a taste of her powers. But when he tries, she gets the feeling that he's up to more than he says, and she breaks free and takes off. As she does so, Eclipso is calling out to her, so she follows the voice all the way to Turkey and the Temple of Artemis. Where she finally learns that it's Eclipso that's hunting her. This issues pencils were done by Al Barrioneuvo. They're fantastic. And Paul Dini got help on the script by Tony Bedard. This is a great series, and I love the way they're handling all these characters. I can't believe we're down to 32 already. It's zipping by.
