I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

X-Factor #21 - Marvel
This book has been getting kind of a cool quirky feel to it. We meet a new mutant this issue. I assume that's what he is. We really don't find out to much about him other than he can change his appearance, and he has some kind of transporting equipment, or powers. He's really just an enigma at this point. We really don't even know his name. I'm assuming right now that we're calling him the Isolationist? That's my best guess. He kind of, almost, has as an older type Cable look to him. But that's really a stretch. So I don't think it'll help much. Oh he also has some kind of psychic powers. I'm not sure if it's telepathy, or he's just haunted by a whole lot of ghosts. But one way or another, he has a whole lot of voices going through his head, but he has medication that'll make them stop. Really, not a lot of information to go on. Jamie's really trying to make sure the teams stays together. He's trying to mend fences with Theresa and Monet. Guido is taking his side. And Rahne thinks the girls are just being mean for the way they're treating him. Of course Layla, I don't think, takes any sides. She just kind of watches what's going on. Putting the pieces together. Oh yeah, and I think Monet is pregnant. I would think it's Jamie's. I wonder how it'll come out since he's not really a mutant. Also there's a touching moment between Rahne and Rictor. Oh yeah, also Val has offered Quido the job of Sheriff of Mutant-town. It's really not that formal of a title. But basically, that's what his job functions would be. So while all of this is going on, the mysterious guy is homing in on our misfit team. But I really don't think he's tracking them. I think he's after Nicole, the little girl Theresa and Monet brought home from Paris. They rescued her from X-Cell. Also someone is hiring our team to find a couple of twins. It's a benign enough detail. Except that it's going to put them in direct conflict with the Purity Movement. We'll have to wait and see what happens there. Meanwhile in the backup story, Endangered Species, Hank has gone to talk to the High-Evolutionary about the cryptic clue that he gave him. He doesn't make much headway with him, other than finding out that one of his compatriots came to talk to him before he did. But he won't tell him who. This is going to be an interesting story. But I'm sure we're only going to be fed bite-sized pieces as we go along. Good thing it comes out as a back-up every week.
