I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Avengers - the Initiative #4 - Marvel
I gotta say, I really like this book. Dan Slott writes it, and Stefano Caselli draws it. They're both giving the book a really good feel. And I guess what I like is that it's different from the other 2 Avengers books. We get lots of information this issue. We find out that Hardball is selling out secrets of the team for some reason. He ends up swiping one of the bullets that are filled with the Spin-tech, over 12 million nanobots, and turning it over to someone. I assume this guy is hooked up with Gyrich because of the way he talks about him. He also lets it slip that Gyrich has his own little black-ops team. We also find out, when Justice and Cloud 9 go to MVP's parents house. Justice feels that Cloud 9 needs closure, about MVP's accident, but she won't be able to get that unless she confronts his parents and apologizes. But, when they knock on the door . . . . MVP answers. Is it his brother? A clone? We aren't going to get any answers this issue. That's where the mystery it left. Because shortly after that is when they're interrupted with news that the Hulk has landed in NYC. Tony decides he's going to take his Hulk-buster armor, and head out. But he picks up some of the bullets with the spic-tech to take him out. Well as luck would have it, he grabbed the bullet that Hardball had switched out and replaced with a dud. So needless to say . . . Tony gets his ass served up to him. One of our teams, that supposed to be on peripheral duty, helping to get any innocents out of the way, decide that they want to do their part, And get rid of the Hulk for them. But when they round that corner and see the Hulk, and all the warriors he's brought with him, not to mention the fallen Avengers at his feet, they know that they are definitely in over their heads. Like I said, I like the feel of this book, and I really like the cast of characters. I can't wait to see other teams develop and flourish out of this title.
