I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Birds of Prey #108 - DC
I really like this book. Plus . . . when you got 2 chicks on the cover . . . wrestling . . . . what's not to like? Seriously though. I've liked this book ever since it started. I think Barbara's put together a good team. And I really like all the individual characters. Now there's another new one coming on board, with Misfit. We find out this issue that her name is actually Charlie. Or to be more specific, Charlotte Gage-Radcliffe. At the end of this issue, Spysmasher does the only decent thing she's done the whole time she's been here. She provides Barbara with information on Charlie. So we find out that she's really a homeless girl. Her family was killed in a fire. She could 'port out. But she can't take anything living with her, so her mother told her to save herself. So besides having the survivors guilt, she also has the guilt that she couldn't do anything. Anyways, Barbara goes and confronts her and offers her a new home. The cover? Well the team returns from their trip to Russia . . or wherever, and Babs decides that she's going to lay down the law with Katrina. She offers her a challenge. A fight. Whomever wins, is the leader of the "Birds". Of course Babs kicks her ass. And if she's not sure that she's lost, when she heads outside, about 30 of Babs friends are there to let her know that she not wanted anymore. To add the icing to the cake, Dinah gives her a little verbal warning about what she'll do to her if she ever shows her face again. So . . . she's gone for now. But I really don't think this is the last we'll see of her. But, this is almost the last we'll be seeing of Gail Simone. Tony Bedard will be taking over pretty soon. From the previews it looks like Nicola Scott will be sticking around on pencils for a little while. But the pencillers have been changing a lot on this book. At least in the last 20 or so issues. But like I said, I really like this book. And I'll stick with it through it all.
