I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Batman Strikes #35 - DC
What a fun book. And that's not something that's easy to say about a Batman book. But in this one, Joker and Harley Quinn are back. They're upset with a talk show host because the media has dubbed him the "Clown Prince of Late Nite". Well that's to close to the Joker's "Clown Prince of Gotham" moniker. And he just won't have it. So he tries to take the host, Corwin O'Dooley hostage. Along with the rest of the theatre. But since it's being filmed at Wayne Theatre, Bruce and Dick are there. Batgirl is back in this issue also. I like this book because it feels just like the cartoon. It's aimed at kids, so it's not as dark as the rest of his books. It just has a light-hearted kind of feel to it. The bad guys strike. Batman comes along and saves the day. The bad guys lose. Can't get much more straight-forward than that. Plus like the rest of the Johnny DC line, it's usually a 1 issue story, so it's a quick read. As I've said before, it's just a welcome distraction from the doom and gloom of all of the rest of the comic book world.
