I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Gen13 #10 - WildStorm
Well, our team of misfits have made it to Tranquility. And of course they stumble right over Ajita and Sally. If you've been reading Welcome to Tranquility, you know that they're part of the teenage group in town called, the Liberty Snots. (?) "We're thinking of changing it." Anyways, actually, they stop at the diner and Ajita it their waitress. But Sally, who's always watching her because he has such low self-esteem, thinks that she's flirting with Burnout. Oh yeah, in case you didn't know, they picked out code names this issue. Some are the same, some are different. We have Rainmaker, Fairchild, Freefall, Burnout and Grunge. But this issue is mostly about filling us in on Burnout's background. I'm not sure yet how he got in the Gen13 program, but he did go from foster home to foster home. And he was mad at the world . . . until . . . he got in touch with his inner self through . . . reggae music. Anyways, the Snots, of course, confront our team right before they get to the observatory to talk to Doc Tomorrow. Sally's upset because Burnout wouldn't fight him in the diner. Oh also, back at the facility where our team came from, Megan has decided that she wants the scientists to make another Doctor Cross for her. And she wants him by the end of the month. And it appears that MidNighter's warning to our team is already coming true, because on the final page they're confronted by the Authority. But, I would guess, it's a pre-teen Authority. Very strange. Anyways, I think Gail Simone is doing a fantastic job with these characters. Like I said last time, the team is fun again. Like it was at the beginning of their last run. And Carlos Barberi seems to really be having fun with the art chores. He's really turning in some great pages. I hope they keep this feel to it. They don't need to be so serious. That's why we have the Authority.
