I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Green Lantern #21 - DC
Man does this book have a lot going for it right now. First we have such a fantastic character with Hal Jordan. On top of that, we have Geoff Johns writing the book. And . . . man . . . is he blowing me away with his stories. I love the way this guy does his character development and interaction. Everyone is this book has their own unique character. Which is really something when you think that there's just one guy writing it. Wow! Then to add the icing to the cake, we have Ivan Reis on the interior art. Again, Wow! This guy is amazing. I knew he was something when he used to do Lady Death. But he never got that much attention. Who knows why? But now? Now the guy is at the peak of his talent, and he is phenomenal. Now don't forget the 2 covers. One by Ivan, and one by the very talented Andy Kubert. Now, on top of all this, we have Sinestro here too. This story takes place, immediately preceding the Sinestro Corps Special. Which is where we learn that Sinestro is putting together his own army of ring-bearers. And we're not talking about Frodo here. We learn some more about the Book of OA this issue. And the hidden chapter, Blackest Night. Also 2 of the guardians are taking the Lanterns side, Ganthet and Sayd, and are enlisting Hal, secretly, to lead their army. And he's starting out by coming face to face with his greatest fear, Parallax. And now he finds out that it's taken control of Kyle. So he ends this issue on Qward facing 2 of his greatest enemies. And he doesn't even know that there's so many more waiting in the wings. This is turning in to a "Must Have" book. Not even just for the fantastic story. It's also becoming a good investment. The Sinestro Corps Special is already bringing in $30 an issue. I'm glad I bought 6 of them.
