I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Superman Confidential #7 - DC
This issue wraps up the underwater Metropolis storyline. Basically we find out that it was this ancient Atlantean necklace that Lori's wearing that was controlling her. Of course. Isn't it always. Her love and longing for Superman resurfaced when she put it on. She's been doing some treasure hunting for the Metropolis Museum, which is where she came across the ancient artifact. But where, in the logic of commonsense, does the idea come across, "Oh, let's put it on." Doesn't she watch movies. I mean that's just asking for trouble. Anyways, she puts all of Metropolis in her hypnotic thrall, except, it seems, for Lex Luthor. She also transformed them all, into mer-people, except for Superman. Lex tries to break Superman from the spell by making him believe he kills Lois. Actually it's a robot. It doesn't work, but the rage he goes in to is enough to open his eyes a bit. That of course leads to him fixing everything. And everything going back to normal. Like you didn't think it would. Another story by Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti. It was ok. But it wasn't one of their better ones. Koi Turnbull does the pencils. And it's really a visually stimulating book. Overall I like it. But I was also glad that it only lasted 2 issues.
