I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Birds of Prey #111 - DC
Another great installment in one of my favorite team books. Noah Kuttler, aka the Calculator, is still obsessed with finding out who Oracle is. Well when their headquarters exploded a few months ago, pieces of her computer got scattered to the wind. Most everything was accounted for, except for a memory card which could have some information on it that could seriously implicate the Batman. But that wasn't why the guy kept it. In computer geek land, Oracle is a serious Urban Legend. When this guy went to work, at Macroware, and examined the memory, he announced to the world that he had proof that Oracle existed. Which would be like telling some geeks in our world, that we knew that the Matrix existed and could prove it. Shortly after that he disappeared. Well now Macroware is having a seminar in their headquarters. Both Oracle and the Calculator have the same idea. They need to get in to the headquarters because the memory is now a piece of their equipment. And since they have an intranet, it can't be accessed from the outside world. They actually run in to each other a couple of times, but since they don't know who they really are, they don't make the connection. And Oracle does end up deleting the piece of information that she's worried about. The Calculator is still obsessed. I mean Oracle is his nemesis. But he's also lightened up a little because he met a woman who he made a connection with, Sylvia. The rest of the characters were present, but they weren't really involved in this story. This one was pretty much all Barbara.
