I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Gen13 #13 - WildStorm
Another cover with Caitlin looking HOT! This issue wraps up a couple of plot threads. First, we're done with the Authori-teens. There's a little bit of a battle, but really they're just upset about losing their teammate. Caitlin gets ahold of the young MidNighter character, and holds him and talks to him. They all calm down and head back to their own dimension. Then Megan shows up with her new Gen-Actives. Or as she calls them . . . her kids. They were cloned from Dr. Cross' DNA, just like the other Gen13'ers. So they look just like them. However, as Megan was made to love Dr. Cross and be obedient to him, so to did she do the same to these new kids. They love and obey her unconditionally. So there's a big fight, each fighting their counterpart. But nobodies making any progress. Finally Roxy calls a time-out. She tells the kids they don't have to be what they tell them they're supposed to be. Then she goes in to how each of them have changed and adapted in to their own personality and character. Megan, seeing the doubt in their eyes, just goes ahead and kills the whole new batch. And then she kills herself. So, I'm sure the Rat-catchers will still be chasing after our young teens. But at least now Megan won't be involved in the whole thing. Like I've said before, the best thing about this book, is that it feels young and fresh again. Like it did when it very first came out. Great story by Gail Simone. Of course she has a fantastic set of characters to work with. Hopefully she can keep it going.
