I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Batman Strikes #38 - DC
This is another quick jaunt through the world of the animated Batman. Obviously, from the cover, this issue he deals with Poison Ivy. She sees that there's a rare plant exhibit in town, so she breaks out of Arkham. Batman and Robin are quick on the scene, and there's a tussle. But really, the only reason she broke out is because her cell was so drab and lifeless, and she just wanted to see the rare plant. Batman does end up sending her back to the Asylum. But shortly thereafter he sends her a picture for her cell. It's a picture of the rare carnivorous plant. It's signed with the Batman and Robin logo's. Like I keep saying this is a great book for kids. I would definitely let my kids read any of the Johnny DC line. Since the closest thing we have to fairy tales now is Harry Potter, I think these books would be a welcome addition to any kids nighttime stories.
