I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Ultimate Fantastic Four #47 - Marvel
Ok, we start a new story-line with this issue. It's brought to us by the creative talents of Mike Carey writing, and Mark Brooks' pencils. It's really a great issue. We pick up right after the whole Psycho Man / Silver Surfer story. Reed is back in to his obsession about the Cosmic Cube. He's convinced that should Thanos ever decide to attack Earth again, this will be the only thing that can stand up to him as a defense. But later on in the story, when I suppose he's getting closer to finishing, an entity, or something, comes out of him, like a foggy cloud, and says,"Thank you, child. You've been . . . invaluable." So that's the beginning of another future story-line. Anyways, there's this Ivan Kragoff who's up to something in Siberia. He's putting together a fake symposium, to try to get some great minds up there to help him, and he want Sue and Reed to come up. Reed doesn't, because of his current obsession, but Sue does. Mostly just to get away, because Reed is really pissing her off. However, as Sue's plane comes in to Russian airspace, one of Kragoff's operatives shoot it down. Which sends Reed and the rest of the team in to panic mode. So at the end of this issue, they're about to launch the Seven-Ten-Split, and go try to retrieve their teammate. But obviously they're not the first to get to her. Another great addition to the Fantastic Four story. I really do love these Ultimate books.
