This issue we don't get in to that whole Reach business and all. I guess it's on hold for a month. But we do have a guest . . . . Eclipso. She's figured out that her demise keeps coming from the hosts that she takes. So she's decided to go for a pure host. And for some reason she's picked Jamie's little sister. Somehow the baby is hooked in to magic, so when she grows up, " . . . her power levels will be off the chart." Plus, since she's a pure uncorrupted soul, Eclipso figures that she'll be able to get a better foothold inside of her. " . . . and with the magic power you contain . . . we'll be perfectly unstoppable. Now let's rip out your heart so I have some room in there." But Jamie doesn't have to fight her alone. Actually Traci 13 has shown up first. She's the one that tells Blue Beetle what's going on. Eclipso has somehow fogged herself on everybody's radar. And Traci's going to take a special treat out of Eclipso's defeat because she's the adopted daughter of Sue & Ralph Digby. So she has a special interest in seeing Eclipso go down. They do end up taking her down. But of course she's gone, but not dead. And there really seems to be a strong connection here between Jamie and Traci. Do I sense a love interest in Jamie's life? I guess we'll have to find out later, because next month we're back to dealing with the Reach.
