I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Elektra - Dark Reign #2 - Marvel
Well . . Elektra is back and she is pissed. Last issue we found out that when Elektra returned she was taken into custody by SHIELD. The problem was . . SHIELD wasn't a functioning entity for much longer after that. It appears that she was kind of lost in the shuffle for a minute, but then when Norman Osborn, and HAMMER realized what they had in their possession . . they quickly gained a renewed interest. So that's where she's been for the last few months . . being studied, analyzed and tortured. That is until Paladin shows up trying to collect a bounty. 82 million dollars to be exact. Anyways, of course he bungles things and allows the margin of error that Elektra needs to take advantage of the situation. So now Elektra, after figuring out how to get off the Helicarrier, has to also figure out who wants her dead and why. The only real clue we have is something these merc's keep saying, "Time to make the stars safe again." This issue is mostly spent with her fighting all of these HAMMER agents and working her way towards the exit. You knew she was going to beat them and get off the ship, but . . it was still fun to watch. The interesting part is that when she finally does get free . . she goes to Foggy for help. Not that he's all that interesting in helping her, but . . he also can tell how much shes hurting. And then on the final pages . . Norman tells Bullseye that he want Elektra taken out. "I'm authorizing your request to 'visit' Elektra." Jeb Wells writes the book. I think he's putting together an interesting story here. Clay Mann does the art. Personally, I wish they would've gotten a better artist. Not that I have anything against Clay, it's just . . his style doesn't really do it for me. But, overall, I still liked the book. Elektra is one of my favorite characters, and it looks like this is going to be a classic Elektra story-line.
