Teen Titans #50 - DC

This issue, of this book, really is a walk down memory lane. We're rapping up some previous story-lines, and we're getting ready to start some new ones. This issue was also the issue that gave the Titans a time and place to remember their fallen comrade, Impulse. Er . . I mean Kid Flash. Well actually . . just the Flash. They're all going through some of their favorite memories. It was especially nice to see Conner again. I really don't think we've seen the last of him. Even Wally gets in on the fun. But what I like about the Titans, especially this incarnation, is that it's not always doom and gloom. Even with all the emotions they're going through, Ravager and Kid Devil still end up having a little fun. And then Miss Martian even dons Bart's image, to try to fool her teammates. "Everyone said Bart was a trickster, so I thought . . . I only . . . I only wanted to raise everyone's spirit." We also see the Titans' side of their team-up with Blue Beetle. The actual story took place in Blue Beetle #18, but we get a recap and a little of the Titan's perspective in this story. But, in between all the memories and recaps, the Titans from the future have come back. And it looks like they're trying to take down the Justice League. They attack, Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman and the Flash. And as you can probably guess, that's where the next story-line is going to be taking off from. On a side note, at the end of their little adventure, Robin invited Beetle to come by the Tower sometime for some combat training. Or just to hang out if he wants. I really do hope to see the Beetle pop up in this book a few times. We don't really have that "inexperienced" person on the team right now. I think it adds to the overall feel of the book. Anyways, long live the Titans!!
