Outsiders #43 - DC

Here's another book that gets better and better with every issue. You can see the fight between Katana and Sabre on the cover. But the real twist is that all this undercover, or black ops, stuff that the Outsiders have been doing for the past year or so, has garnered the attention of Sivana, Shazam's criminal scientist rogue. He's actually been manipulating them for quite a while. They thought they were getting intel from Arsenal, through Batman. Well come to find out, it was actually Deathstoke impersonating the Batman. To go a step farther, it was Sivana hiring Deathstroke to pose as Batman and feed them the intel. He was using them to take out some of the competition. Or people he thought were going to prove to be a thorn in his side. Plus he's been trying to get his prized posession back from LexCorp that they stole from him. The Luddite. It's like a bomb that knocks out technology. Except it also fries the people's brains of those in it's blast zone. They forget everything, except the most rudimentary of functions. And he wants the Outsiders on his team. Well Katana has a few tricks up her sleeve, mainly that she can release the demons that her sword captures. So she releases Sabbac and take down Sivana's compound with hellfire. But of course Sivana and Sabre make a getaway. This is a cool book with great characters. I think Judd Winick is doing a fantastic job with this whole package. Keep up the good work!
