We're finally working through the first story arc of this book. Bilson & Demeo are doing a fantastic job with the scripts. Also, Ken Lashley is back on board, and he and Andy Smith on pencils, make an awesome artistic duo. They compliment each other very nicely. By the way I noticed that the Flash found himself at the intersection of Fox & Anderson streets in this issue. Nice kudos! Anyways, Bart is going after the Griffin because he's taken Jay. He believes he can suck the energy out of him to keep himself alive. Of course the Flash beats him, but not before Jay has died. However, Bart uses the speed force to bring him back to life. Huh! Who knew he could do that? Also we have Mota, with the help of Inertia, trying to use his daughter Valerie's body, to help himself get back to reality. Also in his final battle with Griffin, Bart almost drowns. In that instant he remembers what happened during the crisis with Superboy and the Speed Force. This is the first time we've seen Wally in over a year. Basically everyone funneled their speed force in to Bart, so that he could beat Superboy back to our earth. But that still doesn't explain what happened to Wally. I guess we'll have to wait for future issues for that story. Anyways, nice book, and a great start to the series.
