I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Batman Confidential #1 - DC
This is a new series that apparently takes stories out of the Batman mythos, that we never heard about. This one is written by Andy Diggle. It's good to see him back. This arc is written with his forte', a slant on the govt. and military. If you're not sure if he's good at that, just pick up his Losers series. It was awesome. Anyways, he coupled with Whilce Portacio really makes this book a must have. This story takes place about a year after Batman got started. It has to do with his Waynetech govt. contracts. They're trying to get a new contract, and Brace has to go toe to toe with Lex Luthor. He puts some of the usual Batman angst in his story, but he leans heavy on the weapons fighting tactics. I love the cover also. For the first issue in a series, this one really kicks it off with a bang. Great effort!!
