I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Ultimate Vision #2 - Marvel
This book definitely has an "Alien" type feel to it. Now that Gah Lak Tus has been defeated, Vision is ready to head off to warn the next planet. However, on her way out to space, she receives a signal, that to her, sounds like it's coming from Gah Lak Tus. She goes to investigate, and finds out that AIM has obtained one of the GLT units from the Gah Lak Tus armada. Doctor Tarleton, whom is part bionic, is trying to bring the unit back online. His motives sound completely altruistic, until he actually does get something out of it, and immediately takes down the Vision. Now he is trying to splice his own circuitry in with that of the GLT unit. Then he plans to take over the world. Of course. They have another artificial life form that they've been working on, DIM, and she actually helps Vision reboot and fix herself. Meanwhile, the scientists have opened up one of the bio-storage units. And have immediately been infected by some sort of alien techno-virus. So now Vision wants to take down AIM, and get the unit off line. Tarleton wants to keep the unit on line, and take over the earth. And the unit itself, which I assume this virus is an extension of, wants to stay alive, take AIM's ship planet-side, and settle a score for a the first defeat they have ever suffered. A lot of people want a lot of stuff. Great story by Mike Carey. Fantastic art and cover by Brandon Peterson. And thanks again to www.milehighcomics.com for the cover assist. This book is great. But since it's part of the Ultimate universe, did you expect anything else?
