Astonishing X-Men #19 - Marvel

This is truly one of the best books on the stands right now. First we have Joss Whedon scripting the book. His stories have flowed together, so far, with and ease that makes the various story arcs almost indistinguishable. And, he writes it like a movie. Then we have John Cassidy on pencils. If you aren't aware of how good this guy is, you should pick up every issue of Planetary. Fantastic series. I would be hard spent to pick one over the other. Anyways, John's artwork of this series is astounding. The book, literally, reads and looks like a movie. The framing sequences are perfect. The angles and flow is incredible. And some of the scenes are breathtaking. Well basically, Agent Brand has abducted the X-men, along with Hisako, Ord and Danger, aboard a SWORD starship and is heading straight to Breakworld. Her goal is to try to fix the situation before Breakworld targets Earth. She also figures that if they decide to send an armada towards Earth, that if they see her ship, and know it's threat, they'll more likely come after her. Or them. Well it works. The last page of this issue shows their single ship, surrounded by the entire armada. How are they going to get out of this one? Joss sure does like his cliffhanger endings.
