This book is fantastic. Brad Meltzer really has a feel for these characters. And I love Ed Benes' art. I'm glad he's finally on a series from the beginning, and not at the end. Green Lantern, Arsenal, Red Tornado and Black Canary have gone looking for Reddy's robot body. What they find is a slick looking, Armani suit wearing, Solomon Grundy. Oh, and Professor Ivo. They've used Reddy's old body to make a new Amazo. The plan is for Grundy to reside in it and gain immortality. But for some reason, Ivo thinks that it's his salvation also. We also get a glimpse of Geo-Force and Vixen. Our mini team forms an alliance with Grundy, knowing that they probably can't win. But right be for they head off to battle, the A-team shows up. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl and Black Lightning. I think they stand a chance now. But, they better hurry. Amazo is heading for John's home. The download was interrupted and Amazo still has some of John's memories. So his first instinct? Head towards home. Meanwhile, all this time, John has been dealing with the frailty's of actually having a human body to deal with. Not what it's cracked up to be. Not to mention the limitations. The issue ends with Reddy face to face with Grundy, and the JLA face to face with Amazo. It's going to be an uphill battle for both.
