Detective #827 - DC

This book is brought to us by the usual creative team, at least what were used to the last few month, of Paul Dini, Don Kramer and covers by Simone Bianchi. Fantastic team. But, again, the aspect that really sticks out to me most is the coloring. The coloring on this book, the last few months, has been some of the most vibrant I've seen, ever. It's by John Kalisz. Props to you, bud! Anyways this seems to be the year for bringing out all the old, and revamping it. This issue Scarface is back. But with a twist, it's his daughter. Scarface is back, but at first they don't really know if Arnold Wesker is back, or not. So Batman goes undercover as Lefty Knox. I forgot Matches Malone got killed by Scarface. Anyways, Scarface brings in all of Gothams hitters, to the Iceburg Lounge. You know, Penguin's club. They think it's because Scarface wants to put his gang back together, but actually it's to bring Batman out in the open. Which it does. There's a battle, and she turns out to be just as deadly as Wesker. We know it's his daughter, but Batman doesn't yet. Anyways, good book. Great art and coloring. And a fantastic cover.
