I can see the end in sight. I don't know how it's going to end. Or what twists or turns we're going to take before we get there. But, we are almost there. Man that year went fast. We start out this issue with Boomer, along with Plastique, Electrocutioner, Count Vertigo and Atom Smasher, out on a mission to stop the Black Adam family. Long story short, Osiris freaks out, and rips the Electrocutioner in half. Oops! So the mission failed, right? "I never expected the Suicide Squad to actually bring them in. I got what I really needed. Video feeds were live and recorded.", Amanda Waller tells Count Vertigo. "We pushed the Black Marvels . . . . . and they pushed back". Next we're following some of the Infinity Inc. people as they go on a shopping trip. Little to they know that they're going to be coaxed into splitting up so John Henry can confront Natasha. He doesn't try to tell her what to do, but he does tell her what he knows and lets her try to figure out just how Blockbuster killed Trajectory. "How did a slug like Blockbuster manage to grab someone who could move that fast?" Clark Kent has been abducted by some of Lex's goons, although he doesn't know that, to try to get him to fess up to who Supernova really is. All Clark knows, is that he isn't Superman. We see Charlie in a hospital bed, ailing and delusional from the cancer. Renee is staying with him, but she doesn't think it will be long. And finally Lex is going to do something on New Year's Eve to try to force Supernova out, and somehow make him fail. Anything else, we'll have to wait until next issue.
