Lots of stuff happening this issue. Fire just left LaDama's house at the end of last issue. Well, apparently, she left a mother box behind. LaDama's daughter found it, and now has been teleported who knows where. We then get to see Jamie work with his "people", or beetle network, to find out what this box is, and where it may have taken her. It ends up that when Jamie goes into his Beetle armor, he can actually talk to it. So next thing you know .. . . . BOOM! He goes to the planet where Brenda is. About 75 miles away. Turns out she on some planet that been turned in to a big booby trap. Don't know by who, but, it has something to do with New Genesis. Also on the planet is Lonar the Hunter, from New Genesis. Brenda's taken in by some Gremlin looking aliens, whom seem nice, but then want to drink her blood. Lonar comes to her rescue, but she's still beaten up quite a bit. So as Lonar shoo's away all the aliens, and carries Brenda off to safety, Jamie comes flying in armored up, and completely misinterprets the situation. Of course. So now we have a slug-fest brewing between the two. But, we'll have to wait until next issue to see it. And somehow Metron's going to get involved too. The story's getting better, but the artwork, not so much. I'm trying to hang on though. I give it about another 12 issues, if it stays the same as it is now.
