Catwoman #62 - DC

This book really does just keep getting better and better. Will Pfeifer is really doing a fantastic job scripting these characters. And, David Lopez's pencils seem to fit the story better every issue. Another book this month with a back story. It seems like they're trying to wrap up this whole Sam and Slam Bradley thing this issue. And in doing so we find out just how Selina came to be bearing child, that it's not really Batman's, and why she would've picked and trained someone to take over for her for a little while. Oh yeah, she also finally admits this issue that she did indeed kill Black Mask. That's something she's been skirting around for a while now. Sam has also been wondering how, and why, when it seemed like there was an attraction between him a and Selina, did she end up with his son Slam. Anyways, all the questions are answered this issue, and everything is wrapped up very tiddley. My guess is that Catwoman is going in a new direction starting next issue. I don't know any information to confirm that, but that's the sense I get from this story. So old story lines need to be wrapped up, so she can start heading somewhere new. But that's ok. Catwoman is always going to be an interesting and exotic characters. All I can hope is, whoever her new creative staff is, they do her justice.
