the Invincible Iron Man #13 - Marvel

Matt Fraction is doing an incredible job with the story here. I love this World's Most Wanted story-line. Tony is under fire from . . well, everywhere. He can barely catch his breath, let alone try to properly finish what he's doing. Between trying to delete the information from his brain, and trying to make the Iron Man suit more user friendly . . for his anticipated diminished capacity, he's really burning the candle at both ends. Heck, he can't even stop by a tech-fair without somebody spotting him and trying to call in for the reward. Pepper was captured at the end of last issue by Norman Osborn, and HAMMER. By the way, we still don't know what that stands for. Lets try, Hillbilly Army Men Make Erratic Riflemen. That's my bid for this month. Anyways, Pepper was captured and now Norman is trying to get information from her. Overall, though . . I think he takes it pretty easy on her. It's obvious that he lets her go hoping that she'll lead him to Tony. But, he also has another resource available. He lets Lady Masque know . . "Look what we found. Took us a while to make it work, but it's keyed in to hidden Stark facilities that house Iron Man suits that're still online. You want to find Tony Stark? HAMMER jurisdiction is limited to the US so my hands are tied. But . . well, here's where he'll be running if you're curious . . . you can take care of a little personal business for the two of us." Maria Hill has gotten out of the Futurepharm facility. The Controller tried to put her under his sway, but . . she resisted. Then she disrupted as many of his systems on her way out as she could. She managed to find the hard-drive that Tony was looking for, but . . she's bleeding out of her neck so . . it's hard telling how far she'll make it. Tony seems to go into some kind of seizure while he's working on the Iron Man armor. I think he's in Europe somewhere in some small apartment. But back in New York, Pepper has a feeling that somethings wrong with him, and has decided to go looking. She tells JARVIS, "Find Tony Stark. And to hell with Norman Osborn." Salvador Larroca is still the penciller on this series. Between him and Matt, I think they're doing a terrific job here. I've really liked this series so far. Obviously Tony, and Iron Man, will be changed when they come out the other side of all of this. But, we don't know what the extent of that is going to be yet. I can't wait to find out.
