I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Blue Beetle #5 - DC
I like that they've taken this book in a completely different direction than the old one. This Beetle is Jamie, a teenage bario kid from somewhere in Texas. This issue starts out with the Phantom Stranger checking in with Jamie, well actually with the Scarab, but he wants to find out how hooked in he is to the "tapestry of the New Age of Magic". Turns out he's not, but he can lead him to the one he wants. So I think we'll be seeing more of P.S.. Anyways this issue has him catching up with his "homies" because he keeps crossing paths with the Posse. Some of them turn out to be metas. Or as they call 'em "extras". Anyways theres this La Dama character who collects things and right now she's after a child of 2 sorcerers. The mother of which happens to be affiliated with the Posse. Therefore Jamie, or rather Blue Beetle gets involved. The suit is still a mystery, but according to the next issue blurb, we're going to learn more about it next issue. This book is interesting. The art's not great. But, overall I think this book has a lot of potential.
