I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Wolverine - Weapon X #4 - Marvel
Well, Logan, Maverick and a reporter from the San Francisco Post, Alita Gardner, are all on the trail of Blackguard's newest covert team . . Strikeforce X. Maverick is also being kept in the loop by Agent Jacks, of HAMMER. Apparently they served on some missions together in the past. Anyways, somehow Blackguard came up with the old Weapon X files. Which obviously really struck a chord with Logan. By the time he reached their research center, they had already administered the adjustments to 12 individuals. Hence . . Strikeforce X. So now Logan is in the process of hunting these 12 men down . . all of them with enhanced healing factors, unbreakable skeletons and laser claws. But what he really wants it the man behind the operation, known only as the Chief Executive. We find out this issue that the Chief Executive is already eliminating some of his own men. Obviously there's a leak in Blackguard somewhere if the 3 of them have found out what's going on. He's not taking out any of the test subjects, but he's been working his way through his corporate positions. And until he finds the leak, he's got the rest of Blackguard holed away at a corporate retreat in the Caribbean. Unfortunately . . for the Chief Executive . . Logan has found out about that place and has eliminated everyone there trying to get some information. By the end of the issue, it looks like Maverick is down . . one of the soldiers has put his claws into Maverick's chest. And Wolverine is in a scrap with another. It appears that they're pretty evenly matched, but in the end Wolverine takes him out. However, as he falls to the ground in exhaustion, Agent Jacks shows up to arrest him. I thought it was a pretty decent book. Jason Aaron writes it. Next issue will wrap up this story-line. Ron Garney does the art. I'm not overly thrilled with the book, but . . I mean . . it's a Wolverine book. You pretty much know what to expect. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing . . I love this character. But . . he is who he is. As Popeye would say.
