I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

HULK #13 - Marvel
This issue is presented to us in diary format . . sort of. Basically, Bruce is trying to come to terms with the fact that he's no longer the Hulk. Well . . at least not until the gamma radiation builds back up in his body, I'm sure. In issue #600 we find out that the Red Hulk can absorb radiation. So, when he had the Hulk knocked out . . he absorbed all the radiation out of him, converting him back into his human form. Now Bruce has to figure out if he misses him, or . . maybe he's just bored. I don't know. But Rick comes to visit him. Of course he's still A-Bomb. He figures all the times that Bruce protected him as the Hulk, maybe this time he can return the favor. Actually it's a good thing he's there. Norman Osborn is speculating about the Hulk's demise and decides to send Ares out to test the assumption. "I cannot promise you that Banner will be alive when I am done with him." To which Norman replies, "We'll drive off that bridge when we get to it . ." He's just a real piece of work isn't he? Both of them actually. Anyways, Rick can't really stand up to Ares. He's powerful, but . . not that powerful. In the end Bruce ends up locking him in the cave where Rick used to lock Bruce when he was the Hulk. So now Ares has a score to settle with Bruce for the humiliation. Anyways, it ends with Bruce and Rick going their own separate ways. There was an obvious lack of the Red Hulk this issue. But next issue . . he takes on Wolverine. I thought it was a decent book by Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness. Not a whole lot of action, but . . it was ok. By the way I was digging through some boxes and came across some old Vampirella's in it. They have some of Ed's first work in them. It was interesting to look through them.
